Frequently Asked

Business questions, plainly answered.

What types of events does The Ivory Studio design?+

We design weddings, milestone celebrations, intimate dinners, corporate brand activations, nonprofit galas, and editorial styling across South Florida and nationwide.

How far in advance should I book?+

Most clients book six to twelve months ahead for weddings and large events. Smaller social events and consultations can often be accommodated with four to eight weeks' notice, subject to availability.

Do you have a minimum investment?+

Yes. Full design and production engagements begin at a defined minimum, which varies by season and scope. Investment ranges are shared on the discovery call.

Are you licensed and insured?+

Yes. The Ivory Studio is a registered Florida business, carries general liability insurance, and can provide certificates of insurance directly to your venue on request.

Do you travel outside of Florida?+

Yes. We accept a small number of destination and nationwide engagements each year. Travel and lodging are billed at cost in addition to design fees.

How is investment structured?+

A non-refundable retainer secures your date. The remaining balance follows a payment schedule outlined in your contract, typically with installments leading up to the event.

Can I book a consultation without booking full design?+

Yes. Our paid consultation is designed for hosts who want expert direction without full production — venue strategy, design direction, or a planning audit.

Do you work with other planners or vendors?+

Often. We partner gracefully with planners, florists, photographers, and venue teams. Tell us who you're already working with in your inquiry.
