Refund & Cancellations.

Clear, written terms for retainers, rescheduling, shipped goods, and unexpected circumstances.

Retainers & Deposits

All event retainers are non-refundable. The retainer secures your date on our calendar and covers initial design and planning time.

Event Cancellations

Cancellations made more than ninety days before the event forfeit only the retainer. Cancellations within ninety days are responsible for fifty percent of the contract balance; within thirty days, the full balance is due.

Rescheduling

We will do our best to accommodate one rescheduled date within twelve months, subject to availability. A rescheduling fee may apply to cover updated planning, vendor coordination, and rental holds.

Consultations

Paid consultations may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice. No-shows and same-day cancellations are non-refundable.

Shop & Party in a Box Orders

Made-to-order items, custom kits, and event materials are final sale. We are unable to accept returns on custom or personalized goods.

Damaged or Defective Items

If an order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will repair, replace, or refund the affected item at our discretion.

Force Majeure

If a covered event (severe weather, government order, venue closure, or other force majeure) prevents the event from taking place on the contracted date, we will work in good faith to reschedule. Retainers and prior payments are applied to the new date and are not refunded.

How to Request

All refund and cancellation requests must be made in writing to hello@ivorystudioevents.com. We respond within five business days.
